Please be advised, the UAW-FCA Department was successful reaching an agreement from the UAW FCA Janitorial Companies to extend healthcare coverage for those employees on layoff through the month of May.

In the case that our members are not recalled back to work within the Month of May, healthcare coverage for those members will continue as normal.

For Hydrochem members only, if the member refuse to return to work on their recall date and request to remain on layoff, all benefits will cease immediately.

Caravan FM - Through May 31st

Hydrochem - Through May 31st (Unless the member refuses to return on the recall date of May 11th)

MacLellan   - Through May 31st

TRIDIM       -   Through May 31st

(Note: Recall dates are subject to change dependent on Government action or FCA modifies start-up dates.)

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Harvey Hawkins, Jr. @ 313-926-5493.

UAW Local 685 Vice President Jerry Price is sharing some important information from the company.
Good afternoon, sick leave employees have been notified via phone.
Communication regarding sick leaves:
If their Medical Release Form is completed with a return to work date between March 18th and April 3rd, submit to [email protected] as soon as possible to alleviate any pay issues. They need to include name, CID and phone number.
HR will review within 24-48 hours (excluding weekends) for follow-up as to what steps need to be taken for reinstatement into an indefinite layoff.
If an employee is on sick leave and has restrictions, they will remain on sick leave.
The employees can call 765-454-1100 for additional questions and leave a message.
We appreciate everyone's patience as we continue to distribute information. Thanks!
